Very positive experience. Scott Schuhwerk and his team are friendly and walked us through every step of the loan application and process. We had some urgent questions before we put an offer on the house on the weekend. He tried his best and scheduled a call and answered our questions on Saturday morning. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Scott Schuhwerk at United Wholesale Lending. We were recommended to Scott and his team by our realtor and could not have asked for a better buying experience. We were buying our first home and were not sure which lender to go with, but we definitely wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and get into our new home as soon as possible without any problems. We started off knowing nothing about the process, but Scott took the time to answer all of our questions without hesitations and was VERY knowledgeable and prompt. His professionalism, knowledge, charisma, and hard work ethic were everything we could have every asked for in our loan officer. He was also a very honest man which I feel like is hard to find in his field of work, but if you came across this review then you have just found one :). He told me upfront the estimated dollar amount I would need in my bank to get the house and also broke down all the costs including items I could “shop around for” in order to compare lenders and services. Scott made us feel like we were his only clients even though we knew that this was not the case. He responded to every email (almost faster than I can refresh the page) and answered every phone call regardless the hour. We bought our house in a VERY hot market which required us to shorten the closing date from the average 30 days to 22 days and also offer significantly higher than listing price for the home but our real estate agent had been working with Scott for a very long time and was certain he would be able to help us close. A couple days before our estimated closing date we got our appraisal back and it was lower than our offer, Scott worked with us and was able to get us the house without paying any extra out of pocket AND we closed on time! He is honestly AMAZING. Prospective Client: If your reading this review, your probably shopping around for loans. Don’t waste your time, I’ve already done it and United WholeSale lending with Scott Schuhwerk as your loan officer is the best option.
